Contact How does it look ever pù another crystal with clock generator Si5351A Adafruit! This chip has a reference precision to 25 MHz crystal - internal PLL - dividers in order to generate virtually any frequency, from < 8 KHz to 150+ MHz.


Si5351A The clock generator is a controller clock generator I2C . Use the built-in precision clock to drive pù PLL - clock dividers using I2C instructions. By setting PLL - dividers you can create precise frequencies - arbitrary. There are three independent outputs - each can have a different frequency. outputs are 3 Vpp, via a header suitable for the breadboard or, for RF work, an optional SMA connector.


We have this small flow rate hand chip on the PCB breakout tab, with a LDO regulator from 3.3 V so that it can be powered by 3-5 VDC. We also put on I2C level shifting circuits lines so you can use this chip safely with 3V or 5V logic.


Better yet, we also have an excellent tutorial - a library to get started! Our code is designed to be used with Arduino microcontroller - IDE but it can easily be carried on your favorite platform with I2C
